Job DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the HF in charge, community mobilizers will be responsible for mobilizing the target communities to pave the way for the smooth implementation of the project in the target areas. Orientation of target communities on project intervention and procedures to inspire them to play their role in achieving the project's aims. With the support of communities, he will be responsible for the identification of unserved urban locations for establishing MHTs. Create positive relations with target communities through regular meetings and discussions. Identify local-level partners and support and facilitate community partnerships in the implementation of planned activities. Enhancing community participation by ensuring that the resources of the community are mobilized to achieve a common goal. The post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time which are reasonable in relation to his/her level of skills and experience.
Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Social Science, education, or related field from an accredited College/University. At least one year of working experience with national and international NGOs in the community mobilization field. Local resident. Fluency in written and spoken local languages. Knowledge of the local environment.
