Job Description:Responsible for pharmaceuticals and supply chain management, community-based and other cross cuttings areas Implement the project activities in the province to ensure quality services at health facilities. Understand and materialize the concept of TSTs into action through joint planning and implementation with AFIAT staff, PPHO, and other technical officers; Conduct a rapid HQIP assessment of the HFs in providing thematic services; Identify the gaps in pharmaceuticals management, facilitate a root cause analysis with the staff, and develop an improvement plan; Conduct follow-up mentoring and coaching visits to provide capacity-building support to the healthcare providers in providing thematic services based on HQIP assessment; Develop a monthly work plan for the improvement of clinical and non-clinical weaknesses observed in the targeted HFs in coordination with AFIAT TST members; Implement the Quality Improvement program using the revised HQIP tool; Produce and submit timely monthly and quarterly reports; Carefully document the “Health Facility Quality Improvement (HFQI) progress sheet” for each activity/result undertaken per health centers visited, and effectively circulate it to ensure AFIAT provincial manager, CB officers, and relevant stakeholders use data; Any other relevant activities deemed needed by the program.
Job Requirements:University degree in pharmacy 4 years of experience in BPHS, EPHS or any other related field Previous experience in community-based health care is a plus Previous training or mentoring is a plus. Fluency in written and spoken local language; Having skills in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Word. Ability and willingness to travel to rural locations; Knowledge of local environments;
