Project Title: Provision of In-Kind Food Assistance in Faryab Province
Project Overview: The project aims to deliver in-kind food assistance to vulnerable populations in the districts of Andkhoy, Dawlat Abad, Khwaja Sabz Posh, and Qurghan in Faryab Province. Implemented by the Agency for Assistance for Development of Afghanistan (AADA) with funding from OCHA’s country-based pooled funds, the initiative focuses on addressing food insecurity caused by various emergencies, including natural disasters.
Objectives:
- To provide immediate food relief to food-insecure households affected by crises.
- To support local food security and improve the nutritional status of vulnerable groups.
- To strengthen community resilience by ensuring access to essential food supplies during emergencies.
Target Audience: Vulnerable households and individuals in the districts of Andkhoy, Dawlat Abad, Khwaja Sabz Posh, and Qurghan who are food-insecure due to natural disasters or emergencies.
