On January 11-12, AADA conducted its Annual Review Workshop, to assess and review the projects’ performance during 2015. The review has been done in the presence of MOPH/GCMU representatives –Dr. Zahidullah Rasooli, Team Leader GCMU/SEHAT, and Dr. Najla Zarifi, Contract Compliance Specialist.
Due to heavy fighting between Afghanistan National Army and AOGs, in October 2015, Kunduz people were displaced to the neighboring provinces including Takhar, which is located in 85 km in north-east of Kunduz city.
On Saturday November 14, 2015, five new ambulances, which were procured by AADA, and three ambulances, which were donated by IMC, handed over to seven Comprehensive Health Centers and one District Hospital. The opening ceremony was arranged in Sherzai Stadium.
On 9 July 2015 the AADA Jalalabad Field office management staff together with Nangarhar PPHD distributed about 530 medical and nonmedical equipment such us; delivery examination beds, delivery kits, baby kits, suction machines, folding screens, oxygen cylinders, solar sheets, solar fans, batteries for solar sheet, chairs, benches, cupboard, shelves and disks.
On 4th March 2015, Nangarhar team along with PHC and PHO members of Nangarhar Department of Public Health of MOPH, conducted one day 2015 planning workshop. During this valuable workshop AADA plan for 2015 was reviewed and adjusted in light with 2014 achievements, PHO recommendations and constrains and anticipated activities in 2015.
Based on the MoPH leadership approval, on Jan 22nd 2015 , AADA inaugurated one new Sub Health Center in Kandebagh village, Chaparhar district of Nangarhar province. The location of this sub center was selected through PPHCC assessment Committee in Nangarhar province.
