Dr Ghulam Farooq Mujadidi

Dr. Mujadidi graduated from and started his carrier as lecturer in Kabul medical university in 1981. He worked in the field of public health since 1997. As technical resource person for WHO, AADA, USAID/BASICS, UNICEF and Ministry of Public Health -Afghanistan, he was actively involved in the execution and policy level for BPHS; national immunization program, child and adolescent health programs etc.
He significantly contributed in the development of child and adolescent health policy and strategy, public nutrition Policy and strategy (PNPS), national strategic plan for promoting optimal infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices in Afghanistan, national strategic plan for control of diarrheal diseases, national field guides and training packages for improved EPI micro-planning, community based maternal and new-born care, growth monitoring & promotion, facility based and community based IMCI etc.
During his assignment with different agencies, Dr. Mujadidi was extensively involved in proposal writing, administrative and financial management of the projects, budgeting, human resource management including staff capacity building, training etc.
He led the Financial Sustainability Planning (FSP) exercise for national immunization program in Afghanistan. As Co-Founder and Technical/Operation Director of Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA), he was leading implementation of BPHS in different provinces of Afghanistan and contributed in the expansion and organizational development of the agency.
