AADA as a national NGO is committed to strengthen good governance in Afghanistan and actively contribute in rebuilding the country. “Internal Revenue Generation” is one of the most important aspects that Afghan government focuses on it, and AADA wants to play its role in Afghanistan self-reliance. AADA sub office in Takhar strictly follows the “Afghanistan Tax Law” and pays its due taxes regularly and timely. Takhar Finance Directorate (Mustufiat) appreciated the adherence of AADA in revenue generation via compliance with Afghanistan Tax Law, and Takhar Governor Mr. Mohmmad Yasin Zia, awarded AADA the “Appreciation Letter”.
AADA is the BPHS implementer in Takhar province since July 2015. As per the contract with MoPH, AADA is committed to build the capacity of Provincial Public Health Officers (PPHOs) and strengthen the leadership and stewardship role of MoPH at the provincial level. AADA/PPHD joint Human Resource committee is created and have regular and ad-hoc meetings, where they jointly decide on recruitment and termination of staff for Takhar health facilities. This committee ensures that qualified staff are hired for health facilities, and takes necessary disciplinary actions for improvement of health care services. During the PHCC meeting on December 2015, Takhar SEHAT Project HR officer received an appreciation letter from Takhar PPHD for his active support and proper cooperation and coordination with Takhar PPHD HR department.
